We are specialised rubber mixing organisation, able to handle your unique mixing needs. We are able to mix small 500 gram to large contract multi-tonne quantities in strip or slab options. AUS has a comprehensive product range and vast stock holding meaning they always have the right product for their customer needs and can supply on time. Their experience also allows them to custom design, engineer and manufacture products to meet their customer’s requirements.
EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber), a type of synthetic rubber, is an elastomer characterized by a wide range of applications. EPDM rubber is closely related to ethylene propylene rubber: ethylene propylene rubber is a copolymer of ethylene and propylene, whereas EPDM rubber is a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene, and a diene-component.
Nitrile rubber is called by various names including Buna-N and NBR rubber, and common trade names include Perbunan, Nipol, Krynac and Europrene. It is an elastomer, which is a natural or synthetic polymer with elastic properties. The elastomers group also includes natural rubbers, silicone and other synthetic rubbers (such as neoprene and Viton).
Viton Rubber is a premium material that combines excellent chemical compatibility with outstanding temperature resistance, a high density and long lasting sealing performance. Also known as FKM or fluoroelastomer rubber.
Butyl is a premium grade of synthetic rubber with excellent chemical resistance. Manufactured from 100% Bromo-butyl polymers, this high quality grade of rubber elastomer has extremely low permeability to air and excellent resistance to gases and vapours. Butyl also offers good resistance to a range of corrosive chemicals including acids, caustics and alkalis and excellent resistance to weathering, tearing and abrasion (it is not suited to use with oil or petroleum products).
Hydrogenated Nitrile(HNBR) is a synthetic polymer that is obtained by saturating the double bonds in nitrile’s butadiene segments with hydrogen, and it is also called HSN(Highly Saturated Nitrile). Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR) is a synthetic polymer that is obtained by saturating the double bonds in nitrile’s butadiene segments with hydrogen. HNBR is known for its physical strength and resistance to heat, oil, and chemicals.
Hypalon Rubber is a premium grade of synthetic rubber most commonly found in sheet form. This rubber is specifically designed to exhibit excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and acids whilst also displaying good resistance to temperature, weather and abrasion.
Neoprene is mechanical strength and is flexible and resilient with moderate temperature and flame resistance. Neoprene rubber has some petroleum based fuel and oil resistance, including petrol, diesel and LPG. Neoprene Superior has excellent resistance to ozone conditions, ageing, seawater, swimming pool water and to all meteorological conditions. It also has excellent resistance to alcohol, alkali and acid and is UV stable.
